Emergency Overview
When a storm tears through Newbern, TN, siding damage often happens fast and without warning. Wind can rip panels loose in minutes, and once that protective barrier is compromised, wind-driven rain has a direct path into your walls. That's why response speed matters as much as repair quality.
Manning Exteriors treats storm-related siding damage as a priority call. Our crews understand that every hour a wall stays exposed increases the risk of water reaching your sheathing and insulation, so we move to secure the affected area as quickly as we can reach you.
We've handled storm response across Newbern, TN for 17 years, from single panels torn loose in a windstorm to widespread damage across an entire elevation. Whatever the scale, our first priority is stopping further water intrusion, then planning the full repair.
Common Storm Damage Situations
Wind-Torn Panels
Individual panels or entire sections ripped loose by high wind gusts, leaving sheathing exposed.
Debris Impact
Tree limbs or wind-blown debris cracking, denting, or puncturing siding panels.
Water Intrusion
Wind-driven rain forcing moisture behind loose or missing panels during the storm itself.
Warped or Buckled Sections
Rapid temperature swings during storms causing panels to warp or pull away from fasteners.
Fallen Branch Damage
Larger tree limbs coming down on siding, causing broader structural and cosmetic damage.
Hail Combined with Wind
Mixed storms leaving both impact dents and torn or loosened sections in the same event.
What to Do Right Now
Check for Safety Hazards
Stay clear of downed power lines, unstable tree limbs, or any siding hanging loosely that could fall unexpectedly before help arrives.
Document the Damage
If it's safe to do so, take photos of the affected areas from a safe distance. This helps both our assessment and any insurance claim you may file.
Limit Interior Water Exposure
If water is actively entering the home, move furniture and belongings away from the affected wall and place towels or a container to catch dripping water.
